Since I have several diagrams in my notes, I was wondering if I could scan my notes and send them to you instead of making a google doc. If you'd rather see it typed, that's totally fine.

March 11 homework questions

I wasn't sure if we had already decided on what we'd be doing in class tomorrow but since Wednesday is a day 1 I thought we could do the review during those periods and tomorrow we could go over packet problems and the book problems. Also, when are the book problems due?

Electromagnet Lab Procedure Questions

I was wondering how to connect a battery to a solenoid that we are making from wire in our Electromagnet Lab. Priyansh and I are determining the affect on the strength of the electromagnet by changing the length of the wire and therefore, the number of coils in the solenoid. We wanted to use a battery to cause induced current and with a compass find the direction of the field. We wanted to attach an ammeter and the battery to it to find the current and cause the current and were wondering how we would attach it. Hope to hear back soon, or a reply on the googledoc!

Ohm's Law Lab

Do we need to do an error analysis in the conclusion? I wasn't sure, since it wasn't on the template, but we've always done one.

Magnetic Fields

I'm having a bit of trouble with this chapter. I've watched a few videos, and I'm about to watch more  in the hopes that they'll help address some of my questions. I was also hoping we could go over some of the book problems as a class on Monday; I think just seeing a few example ones being solved will really help. 

Twu videos

I was looking through the magnetism chapter today and it looked really difficult to understand. I feel that it would make the chapter much easier if we can have Twu's videos to help. But Twu did "sound and wave" chapter first before electrostatics so our class and her videos are out of sync right now. Do you think it's possible for us to cover "sound and wave" after this chapter's test so we can have Twu videos to watch for the rest of the chapters?

Midterm

I was wondering if you could stay after on Monday and Tuesday, so we can  go over old tests to review for the midterm. Also, I know we have to work on the next chapter, but I was hoping that we could spend the 7-period review day going over material. I'd be happy to work on the Chapter 21 material for an additional hour that night or more if need be.

Lab Reports

I had a quick question- in the future, can we type lab reports up? I don't have a problem writing them out, but personally I  work faster while typing. Both writing and typing work for me, but I just wanted to ask for future reference.

Class collaboration?

Can we go over the book problems in class? I talked over some of the problems that confused me and some of the other students, but I think a class review would help everybody understand exactly where the answers came from. I know problems 12 and 24 were giving us all some trouble.
